Triptych Solution

triptychWith the house for sale, we are constantly looking for ‘tweaks’ that will make it more appealing to a potential buyer. We had one space that was just plain BORING!!! This was the perfect location for the triptych that was completed at camp.

I don’t think this composition has legs though. When I walk past, I constantly think of ways I could have improved the overall design, as well as individual components. After the house sells, I will disassemble the individual pieces in order to move on to plans B, C, D…and so on.

We officially retired this week. Although we have not fully processed what this means, we are both looking forward to our move to South Carolina and setting up studios and workbenches in a new location. The torch and etching chemicals have been relegated to the garage. Living at sea level…basements are not an option. While our home is not ‘on the beach’, we are close enough to hear the roar of the ocean during the early morning hours. As an early riser, this will definitely be music to my ears.
